Meet Joss, one of our incredible drivers. She first started her driving career in Auckland, but Christchurch has now won her heart, and it seems she has won the heart of quite a few of her passengers.
Joss has been awarded Driver of the Quarter by the Metro team in Canterbury. They say it’s recognition of the care and dedication she brings to every trip.
Joss has been part of the Ritchies Transport and Metro whānau for 6 years and says for her the job is all about connection. “It’s always been about the people for me.”
Some of the customer compliments she’s been receiving over the past few months:
“Joss was by far the most spectacular driver I’ve ever seen here at Metro, and in all my time of taking buses. She was kind, attentive, helpful, ensured her bus trip was perfectly smooth and that no stop or person was missed.”
The feedback says she’s helpful as a driver, careful and makes a real difference on the services.
Handing over her award to Joss at our Christchurch depot, the Metro team say they’re grateful to have her looking after their passengers – and we couldn’t agree more.
