OUR STORY
A business built on trust. Driven by experts
We’ve been making sure people get where they need to be safely and in comfort since 1935. From a small family business in the South Island town of Temuka, Ritchies has grown to become a major force in passenger transport.
We feel the privilege and responsibility of our role: from showcasing Aotearoa through tours and charter services, to operating flagship public transport routes in the country’s busiest urban centres.

Charters, tours, regional links, and daily commutes. We deliver dependable, trusted transport. Our industry expertise was confirmed in 2025 with New Zealand’s largest tendered bus contract, adding 175 new electric buses for a more sustainable Auckland network.
