The on-demand service Ritchies operates for Environment Canterbury has been a standout success quickly growing from 30 users a day to 700+.
MyWay replaced the last three fixed route services in Timaru and has set a 24-year record for patronage, recording almost 267,000 passenger trips in FY24.
Our teams worked with Environment Canterbury to encourage customers to use the new service with drop-in booths, information stations across the city and proactive marketing campaigns.
It is now a permanent service, moving to a fully zero-emission fleet.
