Our South Auckland team has been delivering AT Local 7 days a week since 2021. It was an ideal solution replacing a fixed route service with low patronage. Demand from patrons grew so much over the first five years, from mid 2026 services in the AT Local area transitioned back to a traditional fixed route model, supported by larger high-capacity fleet.
It is a powerful demonstration of how targeted, flexible demand responsive solutions can effectively incubate and grow patronage in lower-density areas.
